Workshop Objectives:
This workshop will enable you to -
- Clarify what is involved in a journey of missional transformation, and why your church would want to do this anyway?
- Identify some challenges facing our church and implications for the future.
- Consider a model for how congregations would move through a process of missional transformation while pastors earn a D.Min. degree.
- Discover how you can stimulate awareness and readiness for transformation in your church.
- Test your own interest and readiness for a journey of transformation.

The D.Min. Congregational Transformation provides training support for pastor and congregational team. It will bring focus, structure and experience alongside a transformation journey in your church.
The Center for Parish Development together with United Theological Seminary provides what you are looking for in support for congregational transformation. The Center has integrated Bible study and theological reflection with learnings from the social sciences to develop a transformation process honed in real congregational contexts. A robust curriculum of training seminars and workshops for pastors and local church teams along with consistent coaching support brings experience alongside your journey of transformation. United Theological seminary is granting the Doctor of Ministry degree for pastors who move through this journey of transformation with their congregation. Pastors will find out more about the D. Min. in Congregational Transformation in this workshop.

In this Called to be Faithful workshop, pastors and local church leaders will take home -
- A resource for each participant - full of brief study pieces including Bible studies to stimulate awareness, lead conversation, and most of all stimulate readiness for discovering God's call afresh in their church.
- Awareness and support of colleagues in ministry who share the desire for faithful and fruitful renewal in the church.
