The Challenge: Without creative and effective leadership, a church will not be able to fulfill its vision and implement its strategic plan. All too often, seminary training does not equip clergy with the skills needed to guide complex church organizations through a time of massive change.
Most local church leadership groups never become high performing, cohesive working units; they tend to meet sporadically and function poorly. Unfortunately, in many churches, lay people often are blocked from sharing their insights and talents. |

- Develop its key leaders, through coaching processes, so they function more faithfully and effectively.
- Build leadership teams as cohesive work groups with clear plans for their work.
- Develop and implant a collaborative leadership system to facilitate a shared, mutual ministry of clergy and lay people.
